Goods Heading To Other African Countries Through Benin Republic Stalled by anungangampu: 3:59pm On Aug 31, 2021 |
Hope you all know that goods heading to Ghana, Togo and other African countries through Benin Republic have been stalled for weeks. Ask others involved in exportation to other African countries about this. Am surprised nobody is saying anything about it. Life has become unbearable for those involved in exporting goods to African countries as goods are still in trucks parked in Lagos and new orders aren't coming in. |

Benin republic assumes full tariff for any of the goods passing through their country. Making exporting to other African countries very cost, unbearable for those involved. |

If this continues, it spells doom for export business in Nigeria, as other countries have to look for other means to sort out their demand. |
