You were first a Christian having faith in Christ before you started speaking in tongues that is what matters when it comes to salvation.
Nothing can make you loose that salvation except you stop believing in Christ or become an adherent of other religions like Islam, atheism, budhaism.

God is indeed omniscient but He gave us too knowledge.

There are no "genuine" pastors since no one who belongs to God will sit as Pastor,God's own seat, over anyone who belongs to His flock.. those who believe in Jesus Christ.
