Good morning great people and thanks to the admin for this wonderful group.
For the senior carer role, there are some free nvq 3 programs online, and others that charge less than city and guilds. Does the organization where the certificate is gotten from matters?

Good day, please I want to know how sure can one get a sponsored visa through this means after job application or should I go through study visa as I plan going with my family .

Hello. You can apply for any job in the UK as long as you meet the Person Specification requirements. You also need to ensure that the organisation you're applying to can issue visa sponsorship once you get the job. However, studying in the UK is a more assured pathway to getting a job in the UK. Either way, you can always go with your family.

Good day,
Please do I need proof of English Language proficiency for my application still? As I already have a masters degree from a UK university.

If you're still on Student/Post-study Visa, then you don't need it. If not, you will need it for Visa Application.

You don't need it if you have a degree from the UK.

Why limit yourself to just 1 when you can go for both options

He can apply for a job as a Pharmacy Technician in the UK as long as he meets all the registration requirements and he can also apply for a Bachelor's degree of his choice in the UK as long as he's suitably qualified.

Dear Achmed,
Congratulations once again on your Visa and are you in the UK already? Please I would love to ask what IELTS score band is required for the Health and care Visa and in your case I assume you used Naric assessment, how were you able to pay for the Naric from Nigeria? And please if there’s anyone on here that has done CBT IELTS please can you shed more on light as in what to expect? Is it feasible considering all my computer literacy skill no pass on top phone and kindle and I would prefer the CBT test because of the faster result date. Please help

Check out this link for further information regarding the requirements for the health and care visa:

https://www.gov.uk/health-care-worker-visa/knowledge-of-english

https://www.ielts.org/news/2019/healthcare-professionals-headed-for-the-uk--ielts-is-for-you

https://www.ielts.org/about-ielts/ielts-for-migration/united-kingdom/ielts-used-for-uk-visa-applications

I think u would need to score a band 4 overall and in each of the modules of the IELTS.

For NARIC and all other Visa Application Payments I used a dollar card linked to a Sterling Bank Account.

I sourced dollar from the Aboki on the street, funded the Dom Account and made my payments.

To others who are hoping to get Sponsored jobs too. Please let me share a few tips that might help.
1. Download the CV app and register duly and make every experience be it internship or volunteer jobs count. Also be very sure of the referees you will be using for your CV cos they will be contacted before you can be issued your offer letter when you eventually get the job. Also I would advise that you download a sample CV in your job field and follow the templates. Your CV matters a lot and is almost like the master key that will unlock every other doors Of your career progression.
2. After you have successfully built a good CV, good on Apps like Indeed, TotalJobs, Glassdoor and NHS websites and register. Then upload your CV. Some of these websites have assessments that you would be needing to complete and indeed even gives the option to write a cover letter. That’s like a golden opportunity to sell yourself. Please do notices that.
3. Now in order to avoid applying to multiple job openings that you are qualified for but can’t get because they don’t have Tier 2 sponsorship license. You can go to Gov.uk and check the lengthy list of licensed sponsors. Write the employers that fit in your field then go back to Indeed and the other apps and just input the names. It will for sure bring out available job openings and you start sending in your applications.
4. In my case I made it a point of duty at a point to apply to 10jobs in a day. Yes it was stressful and at some point I gave up and trust me that was when I got the call. Matter of fact I I did 2 interviews in one day and got the both jobs. At some point i felt I was wasting time and it seemed almost impossible considering my level of education and all even my sister told me to give up but God showed up.
5. While waiting you can get your Naric assessments ready as it lasts for a lifetime and you would need it for English proficiency or better still do IELTS exams. To avoid any form of delay after getting your CoS
You can also do your TB tests as people are finding it so difficult to book test dates and the result is Valid for just 6 months And of course except you lose focus you would have gotten a headway around the Job issue before the expiration. The only problem here is just that you would be needing a UK address while filling the form.
You will also be needing a police certificate but you can easily get that at Alagbon and you can’t apply for it pre employment because it is only valid for 3 months and
6. lastly and most importantly get your funds ready. A lot of these employers are not ready to pay for anything. They even see the CoS as a huge favor which sadly is in this part of the world. So you need to get your funds ready CoS agencies are “bombarding” them with applications but I think they just stretch out to select random applications here and there. So once they see you are dragging your matter, they move on to the next eligible candidate.
Let opportunities meet you prepared at all times. Especially since it’s Japa season and everyone is looking for a way to legitimately escape this Buhari’s wahala and secret achievements Please I’m open to more hindsights as I still have a lot of people who want to try this visa route too.
God will see us all through
Thank you so much!

Good day house, please help...i know this must have been answered somewhere but i cant seem to locate it. One of my sisters just got the skilled worker visa. Initially she wanted to go the study route before this option came through. She, hubby and child had done medicals about 2 months ago for the student visa option. Now that she got the worker visa, the other family members need to submit their own visa application but the medicals expire in about 2 weeks from now. Please can they still use the same medicals or they need to do another. Considering that the medicals may expire before the visa feedback is out. Kindly assist

Hello,
I have my CoS and offer letter but haven't been able to apply because I haven't done English and TB test.
1. How did you book for your TB test, the site is always saying slot not available
2. Was it any of your lecturers that wrote letter for you for the NARIC verification and how long did it take to get the NARIC feedback.
3. Besides CoS, offer letter, TB cert and English proficiency, what other documents did you include in your application?

Counting on your response please.
Thanks

CoS can be issued once the company decides to employ you. Mine took 3 days after they made an offer, it could be the same day if they want.

Provide any information they want on time and follow up with your references to respond on time as well so that there is no delay from your side.

In the CoS letter, there is a column for whether the company will take care of you for the first month, if the company tick 'Y', you will not need a bank statement or PoF, if they tick 'N', you will need a bank statement or PoF.

Since you have gotten this far, I advise you to book for TB test and write IELTS to avoid delay when the CoS is eventually issued. Mine has been issued for a couple of weeks now but I haven't been able to apply for Visa because the approved TB test center didn't have an available date that was close and IELTS will take 13 days to come out after writing. Even if you are skeptical, booking for the TB test is free and you can pay on the day of the test, so just book and secure a date.

Are you in IT and which country within UK did you secure the job?

What websites are the jobs being offered or listed Can any one help? Thanks

I did my biometrics today. It was IELTS that really caused the long wait. I did naric same time I did IELTS but they responded today that the processing is complete. I logged in but didn't see anything to download. Thank God I went for two options

The school provided a hard copy letter Which someone scanned and emailed to me. The school doesn't have to send directly to NARIC, get them to email the signed letter to you .

You can start the application, but u would need to upload the required documents before payment and processing commences.

Upload to NARIC

Scanned copy of your transcript
Scanned copy of your bachelor degree certificate
Scanned copy of your medium of instruction letter
Hello, Achmed1. Do you mean your institution sent your transcript direct to you and not to NARIC?
Can you confirm whether a NARIC certificate/statement has an indefinite validity?
After completion of assessment, was the NARIC certificate sent to you via courier, or is the soft copy which is downloadable from the Ecctis website sufficient for visa application purposes? Thanks.
