if i may ask, what do you need the language for? Is it just for easy communication or for education. Regarding the tuition, the price depends on the certificate you want to enrol for. Danke shon, ville danke, es freut miche.

Chairman, I believe that no knowledge is wasted. A family friend actually wants me to come over to Germany for the greener pastures(I already have a masters here in Naija). Though I may not be relocating now, learning the Language now wouldn't be a bad idea... unless the fees are too high.

I didn't I understand a word you wrote in your last sentence, but soon we will both communicate in that language.

Sure , not knowledge is a waist. Since you would be going for just greener pastures, then you would be needing lets say an GOETHE A1 certificate. But is it was for studies, you would be needing a B1 certificate. Its never a bad idea you learning it now, languages at times is the key opener to fortune. For the last sentence, the all mean almost the same thing. Meaning lots of thanks.

Re: German Embassy And Visa by Nobody: 11:19pm On Aug 30, 2012
lET ME KNOW IF YOUR PP WAS DATE STAMPED.
MINE TOOK EXACTLY 21 DAYS AFTER INTERVIEW, I'VE HEARED SOMEOTHER PEOPLE SAID THEIRS TOOK LONGER. YOU SHOULD BE TOLD BY YOUR INTERVIEWER HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE YOUR VISA TO BE PROCESSED. ANYWAY YOUR APPLICATION WOULD HAVE BEEN SENT TO THE FOREIGNERS OFFICE IN THE CITY OF YOUR UNIVERSITY FOR AUTHORIZATION. WHEN YOUR AUTHORIZATION IS READY, THE EMBASSY WILL CONTACT YOU.

Check d website of d skool u want to apply to,if u told to submit to uni-assist, den u do. Not all uni use uni-assist, some do it directly(admission process),,,, I certified my docs(high court in lagos), n sent it to dem(uni-assist in germany), I got reply in a week, and acceptance in anoda week(makin it 2weeks). Their postal service is kinda slow anyway. Cos my admission got here in 2weeks

SimplyD:

All you need do is get copies of your documents authenticated by a 'notary public'- usually legal practitioners. You shoul find this option available for most universities in Germany, you can verify this on the "required documents" page of your choice university.
As for TOEFL you can also avoid it by obtaining a letter from your state's ministry of education which would indicate that you have been taught in English from primary education through university (about 16 years).
These worked for me and also for a friend of mine. All the best.
plz ,to obtain letter from ministry of edu, Is pple going 4 undergraduate can also use dis letter to back up presenting toefl? Hw much did u pay and whts document did u show to obtain the letter?
@suxes06,jejet,simply D and others plz

My pastor's son is going to study in Germany.

My plan is to register him for 3 months German course here,
so as to get some knowledge about Germany.

I'll be applying to 3 schools for him against next yr entrance

I'll share the update here. As per the blocked account, he's not
using it. He'll rather use a sponsorship letter as his dad has
friends in Germany who could get that done for him.
