Hello. I think I have always assumed all smoker's are irresponsible . (Naive then) .Infact some families will disown any member caught smoking as a sign of upholding their standards! On the other hand, some smoker's are successful in their careers.. Hence the Question. Does Smoking makes one Irresponsible? Please let's not mix emotions while answering the question

First of all there are two types of smokers
1.. Responsible
2.. Irresponsible

1 Responsible smokers are people that smokes one type of cigarettes or one brand of weed.. they don't change dealers..they also budget money for smoking ( they have smoking allowance)..
They still have other savings and other things they do with money.. the only problem here is that they damage their lungs but do not cause harm to anybody..

2.. Irresponsible smokers are reckless people that smokes anything ranging from cigarettes to crack..
They use all their money for smoking without keeping any savings.
They can be very dangerous to people around them..
Their lungs are already damaged but they don't care..they can cough from morning to evening with cigarettes still in their hands..

Some smoke weed to get wisdom and some that abuse it, makes it look like it bad.

I am a smoker,a chain smoker at that.
Built a very good trading business that I started from scratch at 21 ish and still running till date(glitches here and there but we still afloat).. Mind you I've been smoking since then.
Very responsible with money and do not spend carelessly.Just focused on my grind and use red oris to unwind.
And how can I forget,currently dating a very good,classy,respectable ,very educated lady in the O&G sector with seven digit salary and brand new official car.
As for health,we keep it in check the best we can,but we'll all die someday,including people that only eat veggies and drink water.
Be careful how you stereotype and judge people,

Just a bad habit. Irresponsible? Yes and No.

Yes: like any other habit, some smoke anywhere, anyhow and anything. They stink.

No: there are people that smoke and you will hardly know unless you are close to them. They take care of their teeth, use perfume, don't smoke in public etc.

Health issue: their business. Habits don't think of effect.
