This two announcement means russia will hsbe to go back to the board with billions to learn about the bombers and what next to come up with to counter balance the game ...400 and 500 are yet to see any real action beyond testing and are now obsolete

Having too many aircraft carriers doesn't make you shit. Also I'll tell you the reason why us currently have more nuclear subs than others. The reason for this is, almost all their ICBM do not have the range to hit targets in many countries like Russia and China. This is why they built subs that would transport them to a closer distance before firing.
Russia and China on the other hand have ICBMs that can can be shot from silos or trucks or even subs that are yet to leave Russian or Chinese Bay, and it would get to US soil. At the end of day, their objective and structure is a lot more better than that of the US.
Submarines can be destroyed. Plus the time it would take the US to transport these subs to a closer distance before firing, Russia would've fired 3 from their home soil and it would enter the US boarder
