He is supposed to declare ALL his ASSETS

The last Chief Judge of Nigeria was removed because he failed to declare all his Assets

Imagine if Someone owns half of Dangote Cement and says he will not declare it because it is owned with others

Peter Obi used to be a Banker he knows better than that , Joint Account or investment owners declare their own interest in any account or Partnership when being accessed for any Collateral, Credit or Mortgage

But that is why you guys have been chasing Tinubu for years and aiming for his downfall over his interests in Alpha Beta

All Nigerian Politicians May be Crooks but at least when you come to equity come with clean hands for Posterity Sake

Don't waste your time with these crook.

Oga do I need to quote any reference to proof to you that tax avoidance is a crime?

In case you don't know, tax avoidance is often treated as a criminal offence is a sane country.
European countries don't joke with tax o, they will treat your fuk up if you try to play smart with any tax matter.

Lazy youth google is your friend, Nigeria laws clearly state that you must declare all appropriate assets that you own, include assets with spouse and children under 18. Peter Obi got married in 1992, his daughter would have been under the age of 18 before the completion of his first term in 2011.

The man is a common thief.

http://ccb.gov.ng/online-assets-declaration/guidelines/

Every declarant is required by Law to declare his/her assets/liability including that of his spouse(s) who is not a Public Officer and children under 18 years age, honestly, sincerely and submit same to the Bureau within 30 days of the receipt of the forms.

All properties/assets acquired outside Nigeria MUST be stated clearly with the value of the said Assets in the Currency of the Country where the property is situated.

Donald trump is one of the world leaders who has avoided tax in the past. Go and read about that. I won't teach you for free again.

I wonder how Buhari's name will enter the list when we are talking men of integrity. I say this news puts a dent in the integrity of Peter Obi. Then you are bringing a man far from integrity into the list.
Bros all I am saying is in a city of blind men, a one eyed man should be king. Peter Obi tried in a squalid country like Nigeria. If tax evasion is his only offence, his has the least dent.

Till this moment, I'm yet to understand the reason behind this Pandora saga.
They said Royal families, clergies, highly placed individuals; so why not start with all this Royal Families first.
Why are they keeping us busy with all these stories?
Will there be any arrest?
What solution will this proffer to our Nation's current situation of Joblessness for the average Nigerian?

YOU HAVE FINISHED MR PETER OBI.

The "SAINT FROM THE SOUTH EAST"

If governor Peter Obi SWEET TALK YOU with how he save money for Anambra state and manage the economy of Anmabra state to prosperity YOUR HEAD GO GROW DADA.

PANDORA BOX has done a lot of damage to his political and economic reputation.

The sweet talker from the East.

It makes no difference. Peter Obi will not suffer the economic hardship for you.

Keep on fabricating thrash against someone that has what it takes to rescue you and your country from the real thieves.

How come they didn't discover where and how he diverted Anambra fund?

If our economy is grounded to zero or negative, his investments will still be there for him while you keep making fun of suffering.

World leaders have distance self from Pandora paper. You guys often write thrash to bring someone down just to support THIEF. Now tell me, What are Tinubu's business?

Is he free from the drug barron tag?
How about Alfa beta?
Lagos state Agbero?

Compare Anambra State with other states in Nigeria. You guys are pathetic.

How will Nigeria be productive with such characters of her youth?

Thrash as always. Why will he hide his face? Let's look at Tinubu's records and if what we can find in him is only on tax, then he is a better candidate.

You should know that they want to discredit Peter Obi so as to enthrown Tinubu. Why state all the Forbes Billionaires and only focus on Peter Obi?

What has the Pandora said about Tinubu? It is a piece of thrash as usual.

What about joint ownership and Shares?

This same Pandora didn't spot on Buhari's declaration neither did it talk about Tinubu.

Did Pandora tell us how Dangote is evading tax?

Can't you see this is politically motivated? We expect more of such to come as we move closer to 2023

Whataboutism has started again. Pandora is not owned by Nigerians

For months, more than 600 journalists from around the world, including the ABC, the Washington Post and the BBC, have been working with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists on this top-secret investigation.

One of the biggest data leaks in history, the papers reveal how the wealthy and powerful are continuing to use offshore tax havens to hide their ownership of assets and stash their cash - despite attempts to rein the industry in.

Focus on the criminals in your own ethnic group or don't you want Igbo politicians to have integrity. The Yoruba and Fulani are already paying the price for corrupt politicians..... just look at the state of Lagos and Katsina.

Does this even make any sense?
You don't declare what you own jointly with others. grin

That's a good excuse to steal government fund and put it into a company who own jointly with your 4 year old daughter and other members of the family, and then just refuse to declare such. This man and others like him deserve jail sentences.
Re: Peter Obi Reacts To Pandora Papers Scandal by Cohelm(m): 8:18pm On Oct 06, 2021
I doubt that it is a good idea for a politician to say 'I am sure you too will not like to pay inheritance tax if you can avoid it". Sounds like political suicide.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. But I am pretty sure he knew. If he can know all the fake statistics from China, what is so hard to know about the CCB guidelines? Besides, he took his time to carefully select those offshore locations where he thought that those assets cannot be found. Little did he know that well trained investigative journalists are not in short supply. He got caught simple.

A very weak defense from him.

He most likely has shares/stocks in public listed companies and he definitely would have declared them.

Would he also claim that since he's not the only shareholder, he doesn't have to declare his shares?

Rubbish.

What is jointly owned is still part of your assets na. At least the portion that belongs to you.

But na so all of them dey do. Iz not only Obi
