Biafra an Utopian nation where everybody will be able to experience true freedom from the shackles of the present political bigotry and autocratic rule.

To the Ibos or the South East people this Utopian kingdom is their Shangri La. I'm based in Lagos but I'm from the Southern South by tribe and just wanna say with full honesty that as much as I'm in support of the creation of this Nation whose symbolic emblem is the Image of A Yellow Sun rising from the horizon.

The vision was the Brain Child of Odumegwu Ojukwu who had a vision of having members of the then Eastern region having their own nation governed by their own laws and constitution but Hus plan as ideal as it looked on paper was faulty. So much so that after a senseless Civil War that ended in a tie break, the creation of this utopian kingdom still remains an illusion.

I admire the IBOs
They are:
Smart
Resourceful
Creative
Pioneering
These daredevils have had their finger in every pie especially in the field of technology and business but there're two traits they also possess that will forever be a stumbling block in their clamor for a Biafra nation .

The IBOs are self centered egoistic people who in their pride believe so much in their achiements that they tend to snub or look down on people beneath their class. An ibo man or woman will prefer to favor only someone from their side than anybody else even if the speaks their language.
Another bad trait they have is they have narcissistic tendencies which is why even if the creation of Biafra were to be possible, the very indigenes will make itbbecome what Nigeria is today.

These are just my opinions. Anyone is free to come up with any opinions.

My final conclusion is the creation of the Half Yellow Sun nation will always be a mirage at least for now. Its why Nnamdi Kanu may never realize the dream of the first statesman.

Even if you think the Igbo tribe is made up of bloodsucking demons, (which I know they aren't) they have a universal right to self-determination.

Let them exercise their right how they want to be governed.

You are not in their shoes and you don't know where their shoes pinch them.

The ideal is right but the people who should implement the ideal, still need to look inwards

And yours too. The funny thing is, you guys are never ready to face the reality of things. The Colonial masters who Amalgamated us and gave us the name we bear today were not entirely stupid. They must have seen with the eye of tomorrow. So my dear, This Hope will always remain what it is.
