It Seems we are on the verge of the Biblical Doom of Damascus spoken of in Isaiah 17.

Isaiah 17:1, 14 tells us that Damascus will be Destroyed in a Single night. Verse 9 suggest it is the Children of Israel who Cause this Desolation, Possibly with a Nuclear Weapon.
