Also help me with info on how to block my bank accounts (GtB, First bank, Stanbic and Access bank).

for Gtb ,dial *737*51*74# to block ur account. U don't need to block the sim. Just block the account using another phone

Just dial for firstbank *894*911#

Also for access try *901*911#

But for stanbic i no know ooooo

Enter Account Number,and press OK or Send.By doing this your account will be automatically frozen from any type of Debit Transactions immediately.
You can no longer withdraw Money until you go to the Bank yourself.

I was able to block my Mtn line by calling MTN customer care no (180).
For the bank accounts I had to use *737*51*10# for GTBANK as the other code didn’t work. Access code didn’t go through on a non linked line, fortunately I was able to sign to the app on another phone with a hardware token. And for Stanbic I called there customer care.
Only first bank code works using a different line than your linked phone no.

A pickpocket stole my friend's android phone and use his registered Sim card that was link to his bank account to empty his savings with airtime purchase.
Always password your simcard.It is the first security measure to take in safeguarding your bank account from hackers.
