I have long conclude that sin is self consciously defined. If what you considered sin is not sin to me, you don't have any moral justification to tell me that I have committed sin. He was talking more about behaviour/ character of successful people. He was just trying to point to the fact that we need to learn from those ahead of us and do the things they do to get the results they have.
