@dreu2fine Lisinopril (and other -pril drugs) is called an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor, so it's a blood pressure drug, it also has effects on the kidneys and works similar to with -artan drugs (losartan, etc) They work by affecting the Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone System, preventing blood pressure increase this way. Medicines for strokes you can get from the pharmacy are anticoagulation/antiplatelet medications. Some will be prescription drugs and quite expensive. Others, called thrombolytics (for complete stroke), can even cause massive hemorrhage if used improperly. Why don't you contact the OP himself if you're interested in herbal treatment for strokes. Vasopressin (actually called Desmopressin) works, not for strokes or for blood pressure, but it works by preventing urination and is used as a treatment/diagnostic procedure for Diabetes Insipidus. It's better to let people do what they want to do in peace rather than interfere with high-sounding statements that sound wise but can easily be disproved by those who know the facts. Others, called thrombolytics (for total ischemic stroke), can even cause massive hemorrhage if used improperly.
