Anything could have happened to the remaining #200 from the #800, you went out with.
You should have decided to eat after your interview, when you're back home. Food shouldn't have been a priority, in that situation, but securing the job.
Anyways, there's hope for creating the future you desire. Best wishes.

Like a motivational speaker would say, "the issue is not the problem you are facing but the solution you can think of".

Yesterday was a tough day for me but as a full blooded naija man exposed to hard life from childhood, I immediately found a solution for the problem.

Let me make it brief.

While I'm working hard so to get a job and beat poverty, I'm also praying fervently for God's mercy in my life because a single fame from Him can bury all the years of shame.

I'm seriously in need of a job and so I applied for a vacancy I was in the know. I was called for interview yesterday. The transport fare wasn't even enough but I managed to gather what could take me to and fro. Dressed in corporate, I went. All I had with me was N800 including my feeding. So I spent N400 for food, paid tfare N200 to get to the venue and N200 left for my fro. How the remaining N200 lost in my pocket, I can't tell till now. Can't even tell if a fellow applicant pilfered me.

After the interview, that was when I realized I was without a penny. I searched everything to find the missing N200 but to no avail. I almost cried because of how important the money was (pray against every spirit of poverty). Having not seen,

I approached the first two guys for help but they shunned me. Naturally I don't like begging. I prefer to die in silence than begging openly cos I feel very bad if turned down. After the first two guys snubbed me, as a true Nigerian and full blooded 'kpako', and sportive in appearance, something struck me. Immediately, I folded my trouser upward and to add comic to it, I left the tie still on my neck and in no time, I was on the road jogging and heading back home at around 2-3 pm with my file in my hands.

People were looking and in surprise over the unusual jogging dress. That was how I jogged on major roads and short cuts till I reached house. I can't really quantify the total distance but it is something over 10km. As I reached house, I freshened up immediately even though nothing to eat, I found Garri and sipped. Life goes on!

My prayer: may I make it in this life, Amen.

People, in all you do, work hard and pray against poverty. It is not something to wish even your worst enemy.

Meanwhile, the interview ended on 'we'll get back to you". I'm still waiting for them.

Thank you for reading.

I wish i can also help you in one way, but things are really hard here embarassed(student), but base on believe, something good will surely happen

blessings in all ur doing bro!

That’s the spirit bro! Back in my day we had a slang for it. We called it “slabbing”. I used to slab like crazy back then. I once slabbed form Oregun, Ikeja to surulere because I didn’t have transport fare after attending a seminar. Good old days grin

I appreciate your never dying spirit and self motivated mind , However you have to change your orientation
1 Lagos has more that 20 million people , and if 10 people shun you off others will listen to you don't suffer yourself like that again and don't die in silence
2 Everybody is a beggar , some a re begging God , some their boss so to beg in need is not a sin or sign of defeat
3 Pls move away from relying on looking for job only as a means of survival , learn how to make money out of nothing through internet and art of selling other people goods some people have items in the ware houses , shops and stores if you sale you can earn double profit more than the owner
ELIZADE is rich today he is not producing Toyota or any vehicle only as a distributor advanced word for a seller

About two days ago, I was in a car...I saw a guy all kitted up , nice ash coloured shirt and a black trousser...with a black back pack. He was trekking possibly from Agege Lawma road towards Ogba...ALL SOAKED with his own Sweat....I don't need a diviner to know he has been trekking a long distance...

My spirit bless you and I wish to bless you financially, but the Lagos rule of not being able to pull over anywhere prevented me of blessing you physically.

May God bless your tenacity.

Good morning sir, I am not the OP but I'm in dire need. I'm a teacher with 3 little children. My employer deducts my children's school fees from my salary (50%) every month and the remainder is hardly enough to take care of us. Please find me something while I'm waiting for the November half salary. God bless you.
