We all have see the good works of Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State.

There's no doubt he's one of the best governors in SE. But can you believe There's no electricity or running water in his home town? Just like what GEN did.

DAVE UMAHI built street lights in his village, but those streets lights are not solar powered, it's not connected to the electric lines. Those street lights are powered by generators. Those generators are fuelled by DAVE through his company. Those streets lights are not just in his home town Uburu. It's litter here and there within the states including the Capital.

He is charging the state millions of naira to run this streets lights. No doubt, there are beautiful when you see it.

But why use this means to suffer his own people and enrich his pockets.

Why not make it a solar powered lights. Why not hook it up to the power grid.

You have to look at one Facebook account call Uburu Amaka. You need to see what his village people are saying. They are protesting so bad. DAVE will soon leave his office as the governor, there's nothing different his community could boast of! He built a few roads in his village. There are a lot of unmotorable roads in his home town. His wife's community doesn't have any road constructed there.

No scholarship of any kind. No youth empowerment. For the Last 6 years. There's no job employment in the states. No job creation at all.

He is building all those stuff because that's where he is milking the State. His company are the ones doing all the buildings and road constructions.

When Sullivan was the governor of Enugu state. He really made Enugu state what it's today. Then the Nnsuka man is no good at. Go to Facebook and see what Enugu people are saying about Sullivan.

Umahi also empowers criminals. If you want to get a car from the government of Ebonyi state. Start committing some kind of heavy crime. The governor will send his PA to reach out to you. Next thing is you are in charge of one useless place or another with a car or a useless bike. Which will definitely kill you.

We need to help Uburu people to get a electricity in the home town. That's why I am bringing this to this forum. We can all agree that every citizen deserves some good roads, electricity, school, hospital etc.

Let's stand with them as they demand for electricity in their village. The governor needs to do something. Please visit Uburu Amaka Facebook account to see what they are doing.

I don’t see anything wrong in his company owing the right to service the street lights so far it followed the right channels.

We are yet to get it right on Solar panel street lights. It’s a great option but it comes with its challenges.

Most states use off grid power source for their street lights cos it’s more realiable though I don’t know how cheap


Umahi has done a lot for his community and when it comes to human empowerment, “you can’t take the horse to the stream and for it to drink water”

There are a lot of state programs for that they should key into it.

Everyone wants to be employed by the government but few are employable

I don't know what you will gain in this false and propagated write up. I'm from Uburu that you are talking about and I can tell you this.

Dave have tried for us. There's no road in uburu that's not tarred. In fact,no matter where you are going in Uburu you can never experience any type of dust or mud.

Secondly, Uburu is a community and the wife's village is in Uburu. And I can tell you that most vital infrastructure are been sited there. Like the Ebonyi state college of nursing and midwifery,the Presbyterian joint hospital which is now converted to be the teaching hospital of the college.

Remember also that Uburu have two flyovers in the main road and also the University of medical sciences and it's teaching hospital is in this same Uburu.

Though the only truth in your post is the light. As of now we don't have constant electricity. That's the reason for the the protests you are seeing in our Facebook group UBURU AMAKA. We are not faulting only Dave in that aspect.

Why we are protesting is that we have notable people in all works of life in Uburu including the minister of science and technology Dr Ogbonnaya Onu and yet we don't have light for many years now.

Apart from this light issue. Dave did well for us in other areas of infrastructural development. So Op, don't talk anything you don't know just because you want to discredit someone

If you read my post. I commend his efforts. I can say he did nothing. If I say that, I am lying to myself.

But why are you just ignoring the fact that it's almost 7 years. Uburu no get light. It's shameful. This light issue is as important as the roads. The PJH is not working. He closed the hospital without replacing it. No hospital in Uburu and no banks. It's shameful.
