Happy sunday to all nairalanders..

I didn't go to church today because i don't have money for offering, and today is not the first time.

Is just a part of me that going to church without anything to give to God is not good, And so, i don't go to church if i dont have money.

Apart from that, my church is that type that will carry offering box from sit to sit, and i always do not go to church when i don't have money to save myself that shame of not putting any money in the box when it is my turn to give..

But is it Really a sin to go to church without money for offering?

Just want to know incase of next time..

Since u are going to the church to praise and pray to God, if u don't have offering money that shouldn't stop you from go to church... It's what our country has turn to that made it look as if it's wrong. In most churches the offering bowl is placed in the front of the church where everyone has dance around it, drop money inside the bowl with pastor monitoring the opening of each palms and closing... This days some church will even mandate the kind of currency notes u should come with for offering... U don't have to be ashamed os I don't have money.. Ur concern should be God and not what people have to say.. They don't see ur conscience only God knows and sees.
