A lot of student die in the university. Some of this death are caused by negligence of the school. But u don't see us burning down the school. U won't even hear such thing like burning down the building in develop countries. Let try reasoning and not using emotion for everything. If only we get emotional about what concerns us all and choose the right leaders, all these wont happen in the first place. We only get emotional about things , we dont profer solutions neither do we make impact in our own little corner. The country is badly governed, lets educate ourselves and put the right people in place. Negligence is a serious offence then lying again ... What type of virtue will they impact on the children? They saw his condition and still left in the sick bay? Truth be told, withdrawing students from the school or from other secondary schools for that matter wouldn't solve any problem. Let each school put policies in place that will help curb and even punish( severely if possible) bullying and bullies. State Governments should also make it a law.

But what baffeles me about this article, is how and why this woman ( a parent) would answer questions on behalf of the school management.

She talked more like the school executive than that of the forum.

Don’t mind the nonsense talk from the woman. Who feels it knows it, as they say. Her remarks showed her as a member of the school board as she struggled to defend its bad management policies. She seemed to conceal the real situation in the boarding system of this school. If it happened to her own child, would she not by now be singing like a canary bird?

With the evidences of the children from the school, parents, ex stakeholders and the ex boarding coordinator, is it not crystal clear that the school failed completely?

“People react differently to information. We are parents in the school. Academic wise, the school is very sound, I must say; I have three children there,” she said.

Where do you ever find bullies who make it academically? If they were that good, how come so many parents are lamenting? Maybe the school is one of those “special centers” where parents use money to help their children cheat themselves in the name of passing their examinations.

She can afford to say this rubbish because its not her son that died. Having your son dead while the school authority tries to bury the matter is not a pleasing experience after all the money that is paid to the school. Who are those boys and why is the school going out of its way to protect them? Why is it that Nigerians place more premium on money than on the lives of its people? The school is more interested in protecting its name than on ensuring that such a tragedy does not repeat itself since we are meant to understand this is not the first time such is happening in the school. Everything is just heavily messed up down here.
