Should we not do anything but only focus on him .

God's Will refers to God’s New Covenant Law and agreement between God and individuals, given to us by Jesus Christ for Law we are meant to live by in the Kingdom of God - Matthew 26 vs 28 - 30

The Law consists of about 100 commandments that detail for us what sin is, and that which honors God. We are expected by God to live in continuous submission to and obedience of His Will - the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, every moment of our lives as this is the only way to love and honor God - John 14 vs 15 - 25

Where majority got it wrong is trying to link the will of God with their selfish cravings.
God's will is not to be taken as something each person has his/her own special calling, rather God's will is for the entire human race:

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life" John 3:16

God wants all of us to enjoy life to the full but for now Satan is the one in control of the world that's why Jesus admonished us to pray for God's Kingdom to come.

This is God's will:

In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Micah 4:1-3

The entire human race should become like one family all taking instructions from God through the study of His word, they should divert all their resources into production of food and information materials, stop military services, stop the production of weapons and never think of war anymore!

Presently Jesus has gathered over 8.7 million people from different races throughout the earth and they've done all these so Jesus is getting prepared to come and destroy the rest of people who has not submitted themselves to God's will! Luke 19:27
