Hello, I came across a post on facebook yesterday, it is about the discrimination between HND and degree holders, It is written there that federal government has placed 2 years inprisonment on someone or company who discriminate between the two and HND holders can also further to master without PGD programme

Pls i want to confirm if this is true or not

There is a bill to remove the dichotomy or discrimination between HND and first degree but it has not been signed.

In Nigeria, it's one thing to have a law, and another for it to be applied. Except it's a government agency, private organisations will not even tell you why.

At least, they won't be able to openly discriminate against. Those days where they say at screening, all HND kindly leave the exam.
