In 2015 Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi now known as th the Ooni of Ife, was embroiled in an elaborate real estate fraud. Many investors never received the land nor the house for which they paid. Some received houses built on land not owned by the Ooni's company while others received substandard buildings, which they had to complete with additional money. There were many court judgments made against the Ooni and his associates. Yet most people said they were never paid. Why was he allowed to avoid repaying hardworking Nigerians? Is his failed marriages the result of defrauding hundreds of innocent people who could not fight the crown? Seun I definitely think you should ask these questions on frontpage.
