Thanks for the response.

Another question I am sponsoring my wife and using my statement Of Account , does she need to present her own statement of account or mine is fine for the visa process.

Hi....thanks for this detailed response.
However, I'm assuming this only applies to student visa applications, or does it apply to visit visa applications too?

Pls does this also applies to visit visa applicant too or just student visa

What kind of documents. I consult for organisations in area of media (website design, digital marketing and live streaming). That's my side gig. - If you can provide documents to support this.

Please, what EXACTLY kind of documents so that I can gather them? Give me a clue. Thanks.

You can screenshot a few of the things you have done. You can also include evidence of monies paid to you for job done. The narration of the payments should help.

My current student dependent visa expires this month. I’ll be applying for a skilled worker visa under the new entrant( working towards being chartered option). Been given 3 years, does the time already spent on my current visa count towards the maximum 4 years condition for new entrant ?

Is Anyone in the same boat? Anyone with COS given before 4th April and only just making use of it for visa processing? Guidance Needed 👇🏾

My COS was issued March 28th; just before the new rules of 4th April....SOC changed as well based off new rules....Now my question is, when inputting my SOC on the visa form, do I follow the old SOC code stated on my COS, or do I search for the new code and fill the new code?

Anyone in same boat. How did you go about yours?

Pls how much do we need to put in her account for POF ??

It depends

1. How long is she staying for ?
2. Is her accomodation and feeding supported ?

Usually it’s £100 per day don’t know if that has changed

But provide more details so we can advise appropriately

Hello friends, I have a questions...

1. Can I open a new account and call it salary account. Then, ask the organisation I work with to be sending my salary to the account on a particular day. It will show in the statement that the money is from the organisation.

2. I have other side hustle. Can I include the bank statement too. It's personal savings account. Should I rather use a company account. I have a CAC registered business with a sole proprietorship bank account. But, I don't usually use it to collect payments.

3. After submitting the bank statement of the account in no 1, should I also submit payment vouchers of my salary, if yes, for how many months? I understand that the bank statement is 6 months prior to visa application.

4. The salary in no 1 is N350,000 per month. Is this enough?

5. My side hustle fetches me at least N600,000 per month.

6. My monthly expenses for my entire family and rent is at least N300,000.

7. I intend to stay for two week. I'm going for a conference related to my profession. I'm not a speaker at the conference.

8. I will be staying in a friend's house in the UK. Is this ok?

9. With my salary and side hustle, is it better to get my employer or family member to sponsor my trip?

10. I stated that my trip with visa, flight, etc will cost me £3000.

11. I want to apply for 6 months visa.

It’s best to make your application clean and straight forward. The amount of money is somewhat immaterial initially. They look at your disposable income. How the money was accumulated and what % of the disposable income is going to finance this trip.

Good evening cash madam,

Funny enough I did my own Tier 4 visa back then as a student and successfully studied in the UK but I do need your guidance to help some friends. Thank you for all your assistance here. God bless you!

So I helped a lady my friend introduced me to apply for a business visa (standard visa). She is to be sponsored by her organization here in Nigeria. The organization was to provide flight, accommodation, and feeding allowance. She had been rejected in the past when she lied she was to be sponsored but put her personal account that didn't have sufficient funds.

So, I applied stating the organization will provide the funds. The organization wrote a letter stating this. She provided her pay slips but not her personal bank balance since she earns lower than 250k monthly and has about 200k as savings.

She was denied, citing that she didn't say much about her personal circumstances. She wants to reapply cos her organization does need her so I thought to ask. Do I need to put her personal statement? Will this suffice? Will the fact that she has low savings cost her? What else can I do differently?

Good evening.

1. How are you the MD and Head, Digital? This might be an issue for the visa officer..
2. You can include a copy of your French visa - not just the visa number
3. Personal Information section is confusing me. Keep it short, sharp and simple. Information overload will confuse the visa officer. I get the general gist - you save in Dollars. Explain that in a very simple way. If I'm confused, the visa officer too may be confused.
4. You are not required to buy a ticket to get your visa. In fact, visa applicants are told not to buy a ticket before they get the visa. This information will not be helpful for your application and might actually make you look unnecessarily desperate.

That person that advised you is the devil's incarnate. Flee ye from temptation!

If you asked that person now they've probably never done that themselves.

Please is it okay to submit only 3 months bank statement? Will this be an issue? The inflow in the account prior to the 3 months was not consistent.

Hello all! How do I go about booking an appointment for a visit visa? I have been checking for over a week now and all available slots this month are either prime time or premium, all assisted. No slots at all in June. Please, Is there any chance at all of getting a regular self service appointment soon?

For a first application I will recommend minimum of 4 months.

Same thing I did back then.

Although when I did apply I had a reason to travel to the UK other than visit.

Please see the attached refusal letter. What can I do to improve this my people? Should the company put the money in her account? Does the difference between her earning and the amount the company is using to sponsor make it look suspect? She works in a legit company but their salary I must say is low and we didnt put her salary account statement with the application though we put 6 months pay slip and the company's letter detailing they will sponsor her.

Please help

Hello everyone,
I received collection email for my parents visiting visa but I have not received any decision email. Please when should I except refusal or approval email from UKVI?.
I'm really worried. I paid for DHL to the east so I'm expecting it by Tuesday but I would like to know the outcome before they get the passport.
Is there a way to know before getting the passport?

If you received only collection email, then they most likely got the visa. The refusal email is usually sent after the first collection email. Keep us informed.

It might work. I've never used less than 6 months and can't say for sure if three months will work. You can risk it and share your experience with us.

Pick a slot that is not greyed out. It looks like prime time / flexi but most are not. You will be asked if you want to upgrade. Just say no and check out. You won't be charged any money. Check all the boxes not greyed out - usually 8.30am slot.
