First get your personal clipper Incase you're going to be visiting the the saloon soon, avoid scratching it no matter what, then if possible don't allow friction and allow your hair grow back for some time, always bath with a medicated soap by washing the affected spots.Try this for 14 days .It will go ,I've had similar experience.

What causes it? Is it linked to clipper/saloon at all? Should I change saloon? Please I need advice and suggestions.

Dont understand why you all find it hard to buy a clipper for your personal use.
If it's something more dangerous that's how you would have caught it.

Standard rechargeable clipper could be found for as low as 10 to 15k.

Using public clipper is worse than having unprotected sex. Op, what you have is head bump. Its very difficult to treat, but there are a few that works.
Bro not just clippers, sharing public seats with headrest.

Great to see so many people giving you suggestions. Their contributions might however, give you information overload. In addition, some of the suggestions are harmful. For example, someone said you should rub dettol on it, t.d.s. If you haven't already done that, please, never try it. You will end up with burns eventually.

Now, here is what you will do.

1. From now on, before you barb your hair, wash and rinse three times, dry with towel, then wait for fifteen minutes. After that, you can go and barb your hair.

2, Secondly, wash with soap and water (or shampoo) after barbing

3.Again, and I cannot stress this enough, even if you do not take your bath twice daily, you still must wash your head three times a day. Everyday. And it's because of this irritation you have developed.

4 Lastly, get yourself some real coconut oil. Use it in the mornings, after taking your bath.

While this is not a cure; and I doubt you will find an easy cure; these steps will leave you feeling happy with the way you have managed the situation.

It might even clear everything 100% in the long run.

You better treat it.

This was exactly why I left one rich pastor guy in 2013.

Though he later got rid of it after I left him. Don't know what he used though.

Just Google treatment for keloid bumps. Also stop rubbing it because the water will touch other parts and the thing will keep spreading.

Modified.
On closer look, they look like ingrown hair. Maybe your barber needs to change the angle he places the clipper when cutting your hair.

Get an aftershave and apply anytime you have a haircut.
Lmao.. You left a rich pastor in 2013 Because of infection..and in 2022 you've still not got married. cheesy cheesy. Aye lee ooo...ibosi ooo

I have seen this happening to people that in some cases, they grow to become a big obvious growth. I don't want that to happen to me please. I don't even know what it is called in English but I have applied some ointments to treat it but none seems to work, rather it is spreading the more. Something that came out one is now spreading to what it is. It would look as though it is dying/dead only to resurface again with serious itching from the inside. This started since last year.

Please suggest the way out for me. Thanks for all your contributions in advance.

Contact me I have the medicine

Don’t apply any ointment or cream, don’t mix and apply any of the concoction ppl are suggesting here, and stop pinching or touching the area (u’ll just spread it more and make it worse)… just leave it, don’t shave too low and take antibiotics tablets for few days.

Probably the most difficult infection to get rid of!

Guy go and get safe cut after shave lotion it about 500 bucks and apply it morning and evening it will dry up the whole stuff desist from scratching it when it itches you. Thank me later grin grin grin grin
Safe cut is a preventive measure not a treatment for keloids. Back then In uni I always had my safe cut handy when barbing. Kept bumps and infections far from me.

[quote author=HeDied post=109919398]

This condition occurs due to irritation and subsequent infection of hair follicles from shaving or barbing hence the word "barbae" in its name.

All you need is better hygiene with your shaving tools and some steroid and antibiotic skin cream or ointment.

Get Kenacomb cream or Neomedrol lotion. Apply once or twice daily. This will quieten the irritation/ itching. Your local pharmacist should be able to help you with a suitable antibiotic cream.

However, visit your doctor if no improvement after one week.

Black soap?? Rub it on, and also wherever the clipper cut into ur skin. Leave it for a while before washing off. Stings as hell, but it should work.

Anytime you’re taking your bath always use your sponge and soap to scrub that particular place really hard. Before one week you will see difference talking from experience but my own no reach your own
