When my Dad's friend wanted to open a pure water factory, Nafdac came twice to take a sample of the water from the dispensing tap and test it.
The samples failed the test twice.
One of the officials called him aside and adviced him to buy packs of Ragolis or swan and pour the contents in the tank if he wanted to get a Nafdac number because that site had a lot of contaminants in the water table.
He did as was advised and later got a Nafdac no and started producing the pure water packs .
This happened in Abuja sometime in 2006.

Please we need to know the location of this factory.
I guess it must be in the North, that's why I laugh when people want to compare the price of pure water in the North and south.
The hygiene level and the cost of production is not anywhere close

I relocated from Lagos to Ogun state because of proximity to my workplace and were am staying with my family is close to a '' pure" water factory. On my second visit to buy some bags, man what I saw made me throw up. Instantly, I ordered my family that henceforth I don't want to see satchet or package water in my house. We collect water from our borehole, boil and filter into clean bottle. That what we drink for years now

Reminds me of something I witnessed some years ago, somewhere inside Balogun, on Lagos Island.

Dude pushed a cart of 2 empty c-way bottles to the front of a shanty building, took in the empty bottles and emerged some minutes later with the same bottles now filled up.

I stopped drinking from any dispenser that day.
