Hi, there I didn't face such an issue ever. However, if there is anything like this then it may be a bug.

Nairaland is still in limelight cos it has no direct competitor,

let's assume Nairaland was in United states , it would have been forgotten by now,
just like mySpace.

this sites need cool features like the message system,

the search feature is useless (it's even better searching nairaland results on google,then get a re-direct back to nairaland) ,

The notification part is unorganised,imagine u have to watch nairaland videos on youtube,

The UI is boring,
the trending section could/should look or even better than twitter.

Nairaland needs its own traditional app (not those fake apps on playstore,)

Followers and following count should also be included in the profile section.


Quoting/mentioning people should be like whatsapp swipe quote replies or twitter quote tweet.

Cool animations is also needed.

Nairaland could and should have been the father of evolution of technology in africa,

Nairaland started a year after facebook and a year before twitter.

God bless you for this point, if Nairaland gets a major competitor, it will lose traffic.. Seun should learn from Mark who is losing Facebook traffic to Tiktok and some major apps.
