These are all evidences of the rot & decay in our educational system. How are private schools given their licenses? Does the ministry of education not check the mental health of those they give license to?? There was a time we had school inspectors with bikes to go about schools during school hours to see how head-teachers & teachers were handling the kids. They’d check if the school was operating within the ministry approved syllabus, and occasionally interact with the students to get a balanced opinion of the school. Now, a bottle of malt, a plate of pepper-soup & a little moni in white envelope will get any maniac a govt stamped license to take out their frustrations on other people’s children. Help me teach my child no be to kill am! This sort of thing is what puts murder in the heart of a peaceful men.

Including the fact that beating a child has no value. I think we need to rethink the "Spare the rod and spoil the child" idea. I doubt the bible was asking parents to literally beat their kids with rods.

Nowhere is safe in Nigeria, even in worship centers people are being killed everyday.

Employ teachers in all the subjects that will teach them at home.

What is a one year, seven months old baby doing in a nursery school in the first place? He’s a baby for Heaven’s sake and should be in the care of his parents at home. This desire to rob our children of their childhood years by foisting early intellectual learning on them is getting on the ridiculous. Let children be children and let them enjoy their childhood years. One day, we will ALL answer to our Creator how we treated these children!

Chai, another baby lost to private school owners when we've not gotten over the one murdered in Kano.
The youths in that area should do what their counterparts did in Kano. It will bring about the fear of caning kids. Imagine, 31 strokes on a baby.
