Recently a boy was expelled from the
University of Agriculture Makurdi after
his coursemate went to report him to the
course lecturer taking the course after
she found him cheating.
Was she an invigilator? No!
What happened surprised people on
campus, as the news went like wildfire-
Many were looking for the girl to teach
her some lesson, not to talk about the
guy they expelled. It was said that
security was moving with her ever since
the incident till she went home.
They were sitting in the class writing
exams in the morning thereabout. While
she was writing she sighted a boy using
his exhibit and she was pained because
she hate sin. She did not report to the
invigilator in the hall, she had to submit
her paper and look for the course
lecturer and escorted him to show him
the boy.
Right there he filled malpractice form
and faced the senate a day or so, and
from there he was expelled. They are all
in 100Level, but they don't use CBT
because #managementscience doesn't
use CBT. They write on paper and pen.
I don't have specific issues with people
cheating in the exam hall, because we
all can't be good even if we choose to
do. One bad egg must just be in our
midst.
What is your take on this issue?
Do we need more of her in our
institution? or Should She be
condemned for her act?

I always laugh when all this octogenarians like to attribute corruption and decay to this generation , like they were saints during their days ...now one of the glorious era men now has been caught cheating amongst kids in an exam .

One of the problems we will keep facing in this country after embezzlement and corruption, ritual killing, kidnapping and so on... I don't think is can be eradicated just like it brothers. It can only be reduced.

People blaming the girl don't have sense.
The reason why the north is ravaged with terrorist is because they keep their mouth shut when they see all this killings, they Don't like snitching.

If people can whistle blow for embezzlers, this country would have been better.

Maybe when you are kidnapped, or a thief stole from you, or when they kill your relatives or when bad things happen that requires people to come out and speak or report the wrong doing that they they saw around them, but they keep shut because they like minding their business.

In U.S.A people are not hesitant to report any minor event even if it is corruption and fraud. If you don't report them now, it will be a norm and that boy cheating if he escape punishment, he will go and become a senator and still do thesame thing.

Everybody saying we want nigeria to be better, we want nigeria to be better, how will nigeria be better when we can't fight the little corruption around us?

What she did is not wrong. However knowing the kind of country we are in she should have applied the best form of wisdom in Nigeria which is minding the business that pays you, in that regard I must say she acted foolishly and should hold herself solely responsible for whatever the outcome of her action is now or in later years to come.

Well, I'm in no support of examination malpractice but I feel what she did was to a point right and wrong at the same time... Knowing the kind of environment and country she lives in she would have serious security issues now.....
