TOPIC: 4CS THAT DIFFERENCIATES THE POOR VS THE RICH

INTRODUCTION
Have you ever wondered why despite your hard work and positive mindset to change your
financial status; you still don’t see improvement?
Everyone needs money but not everyone gets it up to the volume they need, why?
Proverbs 22 vs 2 – The rich and the poor have one thing in come, the Lord created them
both.

Beside this biblical common ground, I believe the haves (Rich) and the have nots (Poor)
have many things in common, they breathe the same air, wear clothes (different quality).

If you were asked to differentiate the Haves and have nots, majority would use money as
the yard stick, however that isn’t always the case. When trying to differentiate you need to
look at factors ranging from Life expectancy,
illiteracy,
standard of living,
social
participation and
survival.

I will attempt to differentiate the haves and the have nots using the 4Cs.

Disclaimer:
The application of this 4Cs will not make you an instant millionaire, however, when
practiced for a while it will ease your financial burdens and strategically place you at an
advantage with regards to finances.

4Cs-
1- CHARACTER
The Haves see money as an opportunity, have nots people see it as something to be earned.
The haves are diligent with whatever they do even when doing it for others whereas, the
have nots eyeservice, they only work under supervision.

The haves are trustworthy, they pay their financial obligation and can be trusted with money. The have nots always seek to take advantage.

2- CONNECTION
I have realized that the haves make quality friends, by quality I do not mean friends who put on luxurious wears, no! I mean character wise and talent.
When they meet someone, they sense have value, they connect base on what you do, how to synergize to create more value in the future.

The have nots make friends by default or by proximity. They rarely make meaningful friends. I noticed that they only make friends around their religious circle and it rarely amounts to any productive outcome.
They connect on a shallow level.

The haves due to their connection skills always seem to know who to call to get anything done. They connect with you regardless of age so long as they have something to learn from
you.

3- CAPABILITY
The haves find it easy to carry out any task because they believe in cause and effect. They do or learn what needs to be done to get the desired results they want, as such they are capable to handle their fields with ease.

The have nots believe that life has been predestined, they put in minimal efforts and expect the heavens to give them the desired results.

There is a popular saying among the have nots in my country “who no wear jersey go play match when God blow the whistle, this means, even if you are not selected to play a match and not putting on a jersey, through the divine intervention you will play in that match.
Even though I believe in divine intervention, Ronaldo and Messi did not become stars because of divine intervention. They put in hours or practice and sacrifices to be this great.

4- CASH
The haves don’t always have cash to spend and spray at parties and do dorime' every now and then like the have nots think they do. They need money like everyone else.
Because they have character, connection and capability in place, it is easy for them to get cash from anyone, whether banks, friends or anyone. They are credit worthy; they always
meet their obligation.

The have nots, have character defect/ not credit worthy, not trusted with money, no meaningful connection and don’t have skill in whatever they need money for.

CONSLUSION
It has been widely researched that the habits of the haves can be directly link to their financial status, same as the poor.
Habits are everything.

You may have noticed something you could improve in your habits earlier while I was discussing the 4Cs, make efforts to daily practice the habits of 4cs the haves display that sets them apart from the have nots.

What habits would you change to see change in your life?
