Details were provided to you and as such you ought to follow up. Your adamance or inability to make do with the resources provided to you shouldn't be vented out on someone cos you no making contact as you claim, is you fault and no one else's. If that's the case imagine no one responded to you at all, people took out effort to give you details, personal details which at this point is very risky, given you're a stranger and at the end to didn't keep to your word (the terms binding the action), so imagine next time you come asking for something and no one responds.
