Update from SIGGY .ng A Nigerian footballer, Mayi Amanzah Ademe Seth has proposed to his girlfriend in a memorable way using the pitch, Siggy reports. The Akwa United midfielder asked his girlfriend, Blessing Karimu to marry him just before a match commenced on Sunday, 27th of February 2022. Mayi proposed on the pitch at the New Jos Stadium in Plateau State while wearing a T-shirt which read; ”Will You Marry Me?”. He also had some help from his teammates who wore shirts with the words; ”Blessing Karimu please say Yes.” The League Management Company (LMC) in a statement via its official Twitter account, said the proposal occurred moments before Plateau United vs Akwa United 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Match-day 15 game. And before you know it, he will abandon football and focus on having 9 children without enough money made to take care of them or a great source of income. Twenty four years later, some of these financially depressed and hungry kids will be on Nairaland abusing innocent people and transferring aggression.
