Russia will make sure NATO agree to her terms and condition for that to happen
But I doubt if NATO will be ready to agree.
The big powers in NATO will move against it.

NATO was created to counter Russia and keep German down. They don't want Russia to join right inception.

Firstly, I think you are mistaking the Warsaw Pact for the USSR. Until 1955, the USSR was just an economic/political block. Just like the European Union today. NATO was created in 1949 as a military alliance and became a formidable threat leading the members of the Soviet Union to negotiate and sign the Warsaw Pact(a defense alliance) in 1955. So my friend NATO existed 6 years before the military alliance of the Soviets. NATO always need an enemy to retain its relevance. The EU has been in existence for sometime now, but it’s not a military alliance, if an EU army is created today, it means the EU predates it. It was NATO that wanted to create a military supremacist empire first and the Soviets responded with the Warsaw Pact 6 years later.

General de Gaulle that kicked USA and Nato troops out of France was called an enemy of democracy by USA government because Gaulle said USA should not be telling Europeans what to do.

Kinda dumb question though cos NATO exist to counter USSR and Russia. It is counter productive to your designated enemy join the alliance you created specifically cos of them.
