I had the misfortune of paying money is Adebayo Micheal Tosin whose handle on twitter where he has blocked me is @mickey_tosh and on Nairaland where I met him is mykelrobb whom I have found to be a scammer.

I was looking for someone to supply me BSF eggs to start a colony on my farm so my search took me to Adebayo Michael Tosin's ads on Nairaland. After discussions on price, delivery time after payment, etc. I paid to the account he provided on the 15/3/2022 as shown in the attached receipt. From that point the red flags erupted.

The next day when he was supposed to send the BSF eggs, he gave excuses & a new date. I waited for the new date but on that day, he sent me the phone no. 09011207685 as driver's phone number. No vehicle details, originating or destination address or parcel image even after I asked but said the no. will call me when he gets to Abuja.

When after 48hrs, the said driver neither called nor picked his call, I confirmed Adebayo Michael Tosin was trying to scam me of money I did not have. I threatened him with the reciepts attached and he gave me a date he would pay. That day came he paid 10k and gave me stories.

After much pressure and back and forth with him daring me to do my worst, he paid another 10k. And has refused to pay the balance until now. Since it is not money I am willing to write off. I will today approach a lawyer and use the 20k he has paid to pay the lawyer for his services and court processes to the end that Adebayo Michael Tosin is tracked, arrested and prosecuted, his accounts frozen and my 25k recovered. In the meantime, I will advice the general public to be wary in dealing with this fraud who is learning to scam.

As for me, the only reason I won't recover my money in full from Adebayo Michael Tosin @mickey_tosh is that I have recovered my money in full from him.

We don't have the infrastructure and willingness to track and curb criminals so in this case prevention is better than cure
