Our client, a leader in construction, building quipment manufacturing and agro chemical industry is looking to hire an experienced ACCOUNTANT

Job position: Accountant
Location: Aba
Salary: N250K-300K/Net with other benefits
Qualification: A minimum of B.SC/HND in Accounting and any of ACA/ACCA/CIMA(candidates are to hold a first degree in Accounting/Finance, or any related discipline, chartered Accountant.)
Years of experience: Minimum of 3-years post-qualification experience, and experience in use of modern accounting/financial techniques and software and must have the experience and capability to ensure timely and accurate preparation of the consolidated financial reports.
Roles and Responsibilities:

 Tracking the group business unit’s financial performance against a plan
 Coordinate the finance operations of the management services entity.
 Analyzing business performance and market conditions against forecasts
 Assisting in the preparation of periodic reports
 Keep track of account payable and receivables
 Pay company’s utilities
 Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statement
 Measuring, monitoring, and controlling risk from any actions by employees, customers, and other external factors to protect ICMS
 calculation of tax payments and returns.
 Prepare and submit weekly report for all bank accounts.
 Enforcing policies, procedures and internal controls related to receivables management.
 Prepare daily requisition and bank reconciliation statement.
 Posting of daily transactions into tally accounting software (Cheque Payment vouchers, invoices, receipts)
