The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has suspended the Continuous Voter Registration, CVR, exercise in Ihitte Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State.

The decision was taken after one of the commission's staff, Mr. Nwokorie Anthony, was shot dead at Nkwo Ihitte (PU 004) in Amakohia Ward (RA 02) of Ihitte Uboma Local Government Area. Peter Obi needs to take his campaign to the North, South-South, and South West regions. As far the South East is concerned, the total votes from that region won't come close to 1 million. Whoever is going to win the coming election (presidential) needs more than 15 million votes.
