For the scammer UBA account to be Frozen till I get to my bank to make complaint for reversal, so they won't launder the money

Yeah right.... I have spoken to a contact but you know bureaucracies.. she won't confirm if it's blocked as she can't disclose the information neither will she tell if the fund is still in the account. I'm driving to my bank tho. Thanks

If you want the acct restricted, the owner of the acct needs to approve it which makes it difficult/delaying. In cases of scam you didn't provide full details and receipt (if possible) what kind of responce would I expect UBA to give.

The user blocked you. If you met him in a group report his group or tell multiple users to report it so it would be marked as scam. I can assist you with this

Beside, the admins of the group would automatically go on the defensive to absorb themselves of blame.

Best bet is to lodge a complaint with both the sending and receiving banks and then copy CBN.

With Nigerian banks, you're in your own.

Sorry for the loss,, but you want to block someone's account on nairaland. You will need an affidavit, police report and court order to place a no debit on a third party account.

When they tell you that UBA and first bank especially first bank is the headquarters of scammers una no go hear...once you open new bank account with any of these banks fraudster/scammers would call you the following day...!! Nah their way..they even shield them in many cases....!!!

Yes they have no control over it because it's not a permanent account and money doesn't stay there for a long time that's why scammers are mostly using it and the money must have been moved to another different account.

Even if you enter inside bank they will say they can't do anything about it and your money is gone.
