One thing of note about UNILAG and some other universities is that they have no inferiority complex and very comfortable picking the best candidate regardless of background. They will celebrate their alumnus if chosen but they are comfortable having even those from other schools as their VC as long as the person is eminently qualified. Hope they stay that way.
