Before now, some parents would decide what their kid(s) would study at the university. Nowadays, parents allow their kid(s) to choose their career path. Both approaches may be entirely wrong. The best approach I recommend is that both approaches compliment each other. Study your child’s interests, what they are good at, what they do easily and passionately. Some children are interested in what they are not good at and are good at what they are not interested in, maybe due to peer pressure, environmental factor etc. Some children want to become doctors because of the story of the legend “Ben Carson” but they have no personal approach or zeal to becoming a Doctor. Don’t allow them choose by themselves, don’t choose for them, LET THEIR INTEREST GUIDE YOU TOWARDS THE CHOICE TO BE MADE FOR THEM. #Celestine Onyebuchi Okoye
