1.UK was doing that long before Brexit....simply because it earns them a lot of money. EU membership had nothing to do with it. Every other EU country does it (Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands have been recuriting international students at a similar rate for decades). Even if UK had remained in EU...they would have still been recruiting international students. It makes cash for the UK universites.

Infact, the worry about Brexit was that they would lose entries from EU member states. But so far, that has not happened ...but jury is still out.

2.Again UK recruiting foreign students is nothing new...many other countries do that. India, China, Ukraine (before the war), Russia, Japan, even South Africa all recruit foreign students. The students pay high fees, and spend money in the country. Good for the universites (extra sauce of money) and the economy.

3.As for jobs...when even UK students that graduate in similar courses don't get jobs easily...why should international students.? Besides it is expected that you leave the UK once you pick up your degree . Getting a job over there is not a right...it is a privilege. Countries have the right to choose which foreigners get to stay...and the ones who get to stay are those who take a space where a UK STUDENT cannot be found.

Every country does the same thing. Just because they train you does not mean dem go dash una job. Their citizens first. A black UK citizen has a higher chance of a UK job than a foreign white guy from another country.

EG...An Indian woman went to Japan to get a postgrad degree in allergy medicine. She wanted to go back to India to use her degree there. But the thing is, Japan too did not have enough allergy specialists as well..so she was begged to stay, and she stayed. If Japan had enough people in her field...they would have let her go home to india...as she originally intended.

You really made sense . Sadly, many have lost their faith due to the situation of this country, brought about by bad leadership. People in govt behave as if there's no God. They oppress the masses and the masses too are going through all means to survive. Our some of university students have taken to vices to survive...boys doing yahoo while girls have turned aristos. Isn't that shameful? Why would someone who had not eaten for days be offered 1.5m just to sleep with an animal and she'd not gladly do it? 1.5m naira is even too much for some girls. If they see far less, they'd jump at it. But note this, the Lord God Almighty will visit their sis on our leaders who had brought us this far. They'd not go unpunished.

Yes, we should not relent in our prayers for Nigeria. This is our own Jerusalem. I keep praying to God for His will to be done in Nigeria and that's the only sensible prayer right now. If He still wants us to be together, let His will be done and if separation is the panacea, let His will also be done. Let me tell you something bro, I don't see a single person among those contesting who can fight terrorism. The buhari of a man who was so much trusted and a war general for that matter, failed woefully. Could what we're facing as a country be the consequences of the sins of our forefathers? Only God can tell.

As I speak to you, I just finished prayers. Check the time of my post. The Lord visited me as usual and said, most of those countries which we people are aspiring to go today had fought war. He showed me China and i saw amazing facilities in place. I saw fast speed trains, I saw lots of Chinese trooping out from different directions like locusts...He said they've fought their own war in the past but He never said which type of war. He said there's no gain without pain. He now showed me our people back home as they were working hard. I saw them in their various traditional and ethnic attires. I saw a military being overwhelmed. I can only pray God wouid take control.

The generation of today has lost faith in God. If some of them hear you say God speaks to you, they'd say maybe you're running mad. They'd say you're hallucinating cos they can't fathom it. Some don't even believe God truly exists, let alone speak to you . You see? Don't blame them. Religion has failed them, men of God had compromised, our leaders who are supposed to instil discipline are now the most corrupt and they don't even hide it anymore. I've been observing a constant vigil for a month now each night. How many of our youths can do that? How would God speak to them when they're so far from Him? There's an adage which says, only a baby who raises up his/her shoulders would her mother carry.

We should include in our order that God should move in this country. Things have gone so bad. God can't live in an environment where innocent blood is being shed. Look at the regions and countries where blood is being She'd and tell me if they see or enjoy peace, tell me any of them that's developed. If its not crisis today, its an epidemic tomorrow, Go to UAE, it's built in a desert. Are you aware that rain now falls constantly in dubai years after creation? Have you ever seen any form of disaster or heard of terrorism there? It won't happen. Dubai now built a mosque and term it mary the mother of Jesus mosque. They build churches for their Christian faith. You find all these too in the west. Why would such places not witness the presence of the living God. Amazingly, only those who do the will of God would He recognise, regardless of their religions.

Our prayers should be, God, let your own will be done in Nigeria. We've been doing our own will since independence. Gold morning.
