GreyLaw:One was even trying to attack me last week Sat, his claim was that "shey me I didn't see him on the highway to have moved my vehicle too close to him in order to overtake" The bikers then that Fashola even complained about and banned normally maintain a lane at the shoulder of the road, this ones go take over the road as if they are the king of roads 1 Like |

Mooh247: What IGR do they bring for the government? NURTW only makes money for private pockets and creates billionaire thugs. Otherwise, Sawo-olu would not be planning on levying each vehicle N800 per day. Meanwhile, there are some routes where each driver pays as much as N800 per trip in Lagos every single day. They only need him around because of the elections that are around the corner. And the political cover Tinubu provides for him has made him untouchable but put our police at his beck and call. |

Way to go. We simply don't have governments in the SW. There are more than 60k foreigners riding bikes in Ogun alone, well prepared, armed able men! Go to Ogerre, Mowe, Sango, everywhere. Okada was banned in Enugu 2011 and virtually every major town of the SE, SS and in some parts of the North. All of them moved to SW and the naive governments permitted this. Create jobs for only your indigenous okada riders and send others packed but these thieving governors just concern about what to steal and their political relevance endangering the lives of the populace and our future. No police or any security organisation will be able to stop these people when it shall start. Most painful stuff is these insensitive people in government will simply run away... They care little or not for our kids, women and posterity. We missed you, our visionary and foresight leader, Awo... these f..klerry ones calling themselves governors, those gone (except Fasola) and ones to come, just make me very very angry. We're invaded already! 6 Likes 1 Share |

Ambode was a stage1 cancer to Lagos. He suppose to be held responsible for all killings, robberies etc directly or indirectly caused by okada people. He played dangerous political populist card by unbanning the already effectively banned okada operations in lagos 1 Like |

Nice Ban, however, it should be a state-wide ban these guys are encouraged by this bike riding to flock into Lagos in their droves to come and commit atrocities. Lanrelagboi: |

RaptObserver:Police to enforce it ke? Sanwo-olu should create a special force to arrest erring Okadas. The force should have special uniforms and trucks to carry the Okadas and be seen on the roads of the affected local governments! |

JuanDeDios:Very well said. I was expecting the ban to be total. Maybe that will come when the Governor secures his second term. Oshodi and Mushin local governments are totally chaotic with Okadas. Jakande gate in Isolo is like a war zone with Okadas! What a shame! |

Good move but the woman governor can't enforce this. He clearly lacks the balls. Those northern okada guys are a government on their own. They are a ticking time bomb. Some are runaway boko haram fighters. God saved me from them last year @ 2nd Rainbow inward Mile 2. The sick guy was trying to call on his fellow barbarians to pounce on me simply because I reprimanded him for doing some silly and risky stunts while the bike was in motion. He said he had done that to many passengers in the past. I had to play a fast one on him and got off the bike before my final destination where he got what he wanted. He shouldn't just ban them. He should channel those BRT buses into shipping them back to where they came from. Some are Nigeriens, some Mali while some are Chadians but they all claim to be Nigerians simply because of language similarities. Lagos is under siege. 1 Like |
