After the lease is expired, if he/she/shim is still alive by then, will be giving the right of first refusal. Most government land comes with a deed of lease for 99years which is renewable upon expiration. Banana, Parkview, v.i and the rest are deed of lease. Freehold land are mostly omo-onile land

Deed of Lease is used for purchase of land agreement. You guy never bought a land or property that is while you are ignorance. You dont outright bought land but they are lease out. All lands purchase in all Nigeria use Deed of Lease for the Agreement. Ask any lawyer who deals of land property, he explain the same thing

According to the 1999 Land Use Act as amended under the Obasanjo regime, all land belongs to the government. When you purchase a piece of land, you're offered a "deed of lease" for 99years after which if you fail to erect an approved structure on it that should eventually qualify you for a C of O from the government, you're liable to do a renewal of ownership of that empty land upon the expiration of that 99year lease. There's nowhere in Nigeria you'll buy a land and be given anything different from a deed of lease. Until you build on it and have enough resources to approach the govt for a C of O, you have just part ownership of the said land.

So this Bobrisky's property content is not out of place.
