Ever since Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged as the presidential candidate for the 2023 election. People have been worried about who the party was going to pick as the vice-presidential candidate. The party said they were going to reveal the vice-presidential candidate on the 15th of June which they did.

The All progressive congress (APC) has decided to pick Abdullah Umar Ganduje the current Governor of kano states as the running mate for Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.
