Well....you are not far from the truth but then you know all security agencies are regimental in nature..hence they can't act outside the order from above...they might have all the solutions to insecurity but the powers that be would not give them the go ahead cos of interests....

But when it comes to enforcing in some parts of the country, they act as fast as released arrows! When it comes to protecting Fulani Bandits they act as fast as a deer.

It is assumed that all their works is geared towards protecting terrorists from the North, giving them leeway to act all-over the country, and swiftly moping up any opposition against the terrorists and Herdsmen.

If you are a herdsman, naturally you will give DSS an A+ for swift performance.

Intelligence is always available. Don't blame DSS but know this, "Any successful attack or riot that stays more three days, has the government backings".

There is what we call black ops. Most times government allows extingencies to happen just to save face. Though in Nigeria's case, religious and ethnic bigotry has colour rated every thing about Intelligence. Aside that, the shenanigans between agencies is there too.
