2. If religion does not matter but competency, is there not competent Christian in the entire North?

1 & 2. There are competent Christians but choosing Christian in the north is like choosing Muslim in igbo land where you hate to hear about them and burn their mosques and even kill them.

3 & 4 Tribe matters because there is need for inclusive government, there should be representation of every tribe in government according to the constitution (federal character), so you can field same tribe of region

5. I don't know I am not APC supporter, I support my TRIBE, but there are APC in Igbo land that are Christians

6. if Igbos doesn't accept it who else does? except the only unique and dynamic, most accomodating tribe in Nigeria, the YORUBAS that only believe in humanity not religion.

7. look for APC members to ask that question but I guess they matching your bitterness, hatred, hypocrisy and intolerance.
