We really need to change our mentality about Funke Akindele, I see alot of comments here that someone that can't keep her hope, how will she be this or that. Some are even looking at her as just ordinary actress.
Firstly, the fact that she had issue with her marriages doesn't make her a failure, most of us commenting about her marriage don't have idea about what is going on in her marriage. Let me ask you, all your so called politicians that have lovely families and they are managing them well, how are they managing our resources, how are they governing us. Funke Akindele is one of the top successful actress in Nigeria, and no one can deny that, well educated, intelligent and creative. If she never make any attempt to marry and she's doing well, we will be the first to call her names that, all this actresses are olosho bla bla bla. Now she married and the marriage didn't work and now we are talking.
Only that in this part of the world, we see marriage as do or die affair, any woman who is not married is not responsible, neither is any man who doesn't have a woman at home. We were all blaming the late Osinachi that she would have walked away from her marriage. Alot of people are packaging marriages as if all is well.
So if Rita Dominic was not married and she wants to run for a political post, are we going to say she should go and find husband first?
Not like Funke Akindele is going for a traditional ruler(Oba) that must have queen. If she emerges as the deputy governor, not that his husband will be second man(opp of second lady) although na only First Lady I don hear of before.
And lastly, thinking that because she is an actress she can do well, we are all aware that the President of Ukraine was a comic actor before he became the president of his country if not for Putin sef, Ukraine was one of the wonderful place to be in Europe.
So let's think out of the box, and stop the rant about her marriage.
