BREAKING A BAD HABIT IN A SHORT TIME

Every individual has a good habit as well as the bad one to deal with. Most times we don't notice these habits. Not noticing the bad habits isn't an indication that it doesn't exist. A habit is something that has become part of us as a result of consistent practice and so changing them might be time demanding.
If we are to believe that is impossible to change a habit at the age 25 and above them it's a clear indication that we have no value for the power of Consistency and its another way of saying there is no need to change anything about ourselves since it is impossible to change. Age is not a barrier to changing a habit.

So, How do we go about changing this negative or bad habit

IDENTIFY THE BAD HABIT

Most of us never knew that our habit is bad until someone probably a friend walks up to us and said; Hey! That's a bad habit.
So identifying the bad habit is what you are supposed to do and you could do that by simply asking questions and researching to know more about habits that are bad for our health. It is expedient you know about these habits so you know about what you are fighting.

IDENTIFY WHAT TRIGGERS THESE HABITS
Try to note down 5 things that trigger this unconscious behaviour and the satisfaction you get. Most people drink a lot of alcohol just to forget their sorrows or when there are angry or filled with joy, laziness to cook thereby eating junk all the time. Get to know your triggers.

RESOLVE AND FOCUS ON THE NEED TO CHANGE THE BAD HABIT/BEHAVIOR
It is a common saying that, where there is a will there is always a way. So it applies to changing a bad habit.
You will have to see the need to change the uncomfortable habit. Getting to know the negative effect will have on you, in the long run, will strengthen your resolve. Make your subconscious mind see the need of changing bad habits.

GET TO WORK, REPLACE THE BAD HABIT

The next thing to do after all the above-mentioned steps is to replace the bad habit with good habit by; simply mastering the triggers
Setting reminder to notify of the time the bad habit comes into play
And stay consistent at your fight until you have successfully changed the bad habit.

PREPARE YOUR MIND FOR FAILURES.

YOU WILL HAVE TO PREPARE YOUR MIND FOR SLIP-UPS.
Changing a new can't be somewhat challenging because that bad habit had become part of you so changing them will require not just 3days but a duration of about 2 weeks to completely deal with it ( but it all depends on how long that habit have been with you).
But in all what is worth doing is worth doing well.

REPLACE THE BAD HABIT WITH NEW ONES

Don't leave the space blank. Get yourself busy at those tempting times.

To be succesful at some things in life our habits are also part Of the major things to work on.
Develop yourself!!.
