Personally, using the analogy of the case of the nanny to berate the action actions of ASUU by going on this long-term strike protest, is not just inconsistent, but also flawed. While there is a point to his opinion on the issue at hand, Seun needs to understand the term 'trust' is always hard to come by following the antecedents of litigation that has either been delayed or rigged to the favour of the government. More like: "He who pays the piper dictates the tune"

The issue at hand is a very simple one that the federal government can resolve if truly they are ready to do so. Enough of the game blame and let them get to work. They cannot continue in a successive system of failure, poor wages, unhealthy classrooms and environment.

They are not selfish compared to the senators and Local govt chairmen who only sit in the house and do nothing but earn their salary in excesses. They have every right to demand a just system. When you do what is right, even when there is not much to give out, the body(ASUU) will understand. How do you trust a government that is not transparent in its ordeals? undecided

I agreed with his submissions. ASUU could have gone to court to iron out their issues with the government, but they refused. ASUU is only interested in adding to Nigerian students burden. All for their selfish interest.

So ASUU should allow only the accountant general to be "eating" over N100 billion right?
They should please strike until July 2023. All the student are already doing yahoo yahoo instead of studying ahead for grades. That tells us they enjoying the strike.

Unlike that year when the strike helped his business, this year it has brought nothing but relentless trolls to the platform.

With the money he’s made from this venture he can very well school abroad. It’s not like handling affairs here takes more time than a side hustle will.

What demands is this dude talking about. ASUU had an agreement with the FG during Jonathan administration. Which the present administration is yet to honor. And you are talking about demand.

What about the future of millions of students hanging, do you think the brain will nourish itself? Do you know how a months strike can affect a student not to talk of 7months? Seun has spoken with sense, why disturb the education of students because of strike when issues can be resolved in the court. That's inhumane

Unfortunately Seun is overrated and likes to spill trash. Is the judicial system not politicised? Has government shown any will towards honouring the agreement or funding education? What percentage of the fiscal budget is voted for education each period?

Seun is right on this one

No one knows what ASUU wants clearly.

Mine is if ASUU believes its fair to mortgage 2 year's in the lives of their students , they must be honourable and refuse their salaries for those 2 year's too. They cannot refuse to work and sabotage students lives for over a year at absolutely no cost to them.

Anything short of that and they are just a bunch of dishonest people, rogues who re no better then kidnappers. In this case kidnapping the future dreams of poor young Nigerians.

ASUU is supposed to be the home of solutions. A 2 year strike cannot be their best solution. They are just Aluta boys that refused to grow up now running things. What a shame

Seun is right ASUU needs to be considerate. however the FG hasn't taken any serious measures in ending the strike the chairman ASUU stated they are yet to even fix one of the demands giving to them. Seun should also fix nairaland it has belong a land of tribal war.

So you are saying all of us should go and learn Yahoo. Do you understand what Yahoo is

Fraud!

I beleive one of the reasons why we are at school is for us to see that there are better ways, rather than resorting to fraud.

Now you are saying this!

In a sane country, you should be fired
