According to sanusi he warned Buhari administration about their economic policies. With the current administration, I spent the whole of 2015 and 2016 speaking to everybody who should be communicated to, and telling them that the economic policies they were pursuing were going to destroy the Nigerian economy. “It was only when that failed that I spoke publicly, and we had to speak. Now the question which everybody is asking is should an Emir speak? The answer is yes and it depends on what you are speaking on,” he added. https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2022/08/09/sanusi-i-warned-buharis-govt-that-its-policies-will-destroy-nigerias-economy/ And according to Kemi Adeosun, it was Tinubus economic policy that Nigeria was using. The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, who spoke during the ninth annual Bola Tinubu Colloquium to mark his 65th birthday in Lagos, noted that the tax mobilisation formula and other policies the APC chieftain deployed as governor were what the Federal Government had adopted in its efforts to revamp the national economy. It means that Tinubu has nothing more to offer. His ideas have already been implemented and it failed.

Many thing state is a nation. You can govern a nation the same as a state and succeed. They aren't the same model. 2 Likes |

Buhari and Tinubu achieved only 5% growth with regards to the economy. Economic policies that excludes the participation of a certain region blessed with financial and economic strength is bound to see the entire nation failing. 1 Like |

Thanksful: I tell people that anybody can govern Lagos State, because it was capital, nigerians migrated and resulted in huge IGR. When Buhari took over, all the states in the SW needed bailout, even the ogun state that kemi adeosun was finance commissioner. But Anambra that Peter Obi managed its resources was still financially stable. This tells you that if Peter Obi had managed lagos, he will do far better than Tinubu. 2 Likes |
