RIP Hustler!!! Useless Nigerians and their backward mentalities. Coke is illegal because they are not produced in the WEST. Alcohol is legal, tobacco is legal, gambling is legal because they get revenue taxing them, they are all as bad as coke but it's ok because it's all theirs.

They celebrate the Mafia like it's the next best thing after Jesus. Books, movies, TV series, Music etc, Cities like Miami were raised on drug money almost.

What is wrong with coke? can any of you id.iots calling Igbo people names tell me?

@Bluetooth/@Olokonla
How dumb you can be. It was only the name of this Nigerian that jump started your slow brain cells to make a comment.

How do you know he wasn't traveling with one of his numerous stolen passports bearing that name.

If you were our diplomat in India, is this what you would say to the press? Shame on you both!

Unfortunately, he must have been just a courier for a big shot, who is in Lekki somewhere chilling and waiting for bank alerts.

You got a point there, just like them calling a man illiterate just because he can't read english, but reads yoruba/ibo bible well well.

There is no reason whatsoever to blame any particular tribe or to accuse them of being the sole perpetrators of the drug courier trade in dis country, in my humble opinion the political class is to blame for frustrating our youths into d deadly trade. Tell me how do u expect me to sit & do nothing when a politician after embezling fron d treasury, sends his own wards abroad for education only for d rascal to come back & oppress you with all he has got which you knw has been achieved thru ill gotten wealth @ d expense of the poor masses like you & me. The next obvious thing is to look for how to get back @ them directly or indirectly.
No matter ur status, once you carry a green passport @ any airport in the world, you are double checked to ensure u r not a mole or courier. Very soon dose rascals that were all sent to study abroad @ our expense will start coming back & when they get back they will come & pay for d sins of their parents & what a terrible payment it is going to be for the spoilt brats !!!

I see most of you clowns cant help yourself stop stereo-typing on your keyboards!

No be Yoruba start am in the 70's and early 80's (ask Tinubu). IBB sef (a northerner and later to be head of state) was a drug pusher (ask Gloria Okon and Giwa).
So abeg! Nigerians never failed to embarass me whenever I am abroad (Igbo, Hausa or  yorubas).

Back to this story:
nothing dumber than a drug mule than a dead drug mule.
I wonder if he ever dreamt of making it big like the columbians? I hope he wasnt thinking of shifting half a ton of dope through his inner vessels?
Dumb-ass!

aloy-emeka:

So all the Yoruba drug dealers who continuously make headlines are PATIENT in your opinion?. Crime is crime bro and it cuts across ethnic lines. Back in the 90's,  drug deal and local 419 were controlled by  Yorubas,  Igbos were into international  419 while Hausas were into government looting. Today, 90% of advance fee fraud cases are perpetrated by Yorubas and drug deals are equally shared while the Hausas maintained their pace in looting. Go to crime section and check how them by tribes and let us know who thinks deeply before he/she commits a crime.

So, stop trying to align crime to any particular ethnic group in Nigeria. It is a worldwide epidemic. What I can say tho is that NIGERIAN MEN tend to commit more crimes than NIGERIAN WOMEN. So, if we need to apply your theory, it will be "women tend to think deeply about the consequences of any crime than men" and even at that, there are many cases that will flaw the theory.

My guy, it is good that you referred to my write up as an OPINION I was not trying to Impose it on anybody, I was open and you can disagree and come up with your own opinion. I was honest and showed that  Yoruba or Ibo could be criminal, the difference is just the way they approach it. Well I suspect that you read TRUTH through the lines of my comment but you preferred to disagree

You later referred to my comment as theory, that is not theory homie! Be careful how u use words and be sure whether it fits very well within context.

What I expected from you or anybody else is to come up with a counter opinion which I dont have problem with
Instead, you came up with dubious, fictitious and unfounded claims, you were even mentioning percentages just to rob us into having no further options than to believe in your point.

Emeka, look at the bold line in your comment, is that not my argument? What we are saying is that while Yorubas and Hausas are still very primitive and Local with their crime within Nigeria, your homies have gone far sophisticated so much that they took the game to International level. The genesis of very very very bad image Nigerians have in the western world, that means that you also know the truth that your ppl frontlined it, you set the pace for others to follow. Look Oyibos see us as potential criminals once you say u are a Nigerian, U just need to be very highly educated for you to earn reasonable respect, otherwise, I pity you.

Well, economic situation is one thing, but a full grown adult is also responsible for his actions. I know someone personally who lost his life while trying to be a mule. they don't seem to know that even if they successfully make it to the country of destination, they could still die trying to excrete the drugs. Or be slaughtered if they cannot deliver it successfully.

Jeremiah17:11" As the patridge sitteth on eggs, and hatcheth them not; so he that getteth riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool". This boy must have been deceived that , nothing will happen, just be smart, take courage, be strong and all that, but they have forgotten that it is a lie, big lie. So, let those deceivers learn from this case. There are plenty of things you can do without resulting to drugs, if only you can think. Where there is a will, there is a way. God bless. God2man.

Before Abdul Muttalab no one had ever heard of a Hausa man embarrassing Nigeria abroad because of petty, desperate criminality

After Abdul Muttalab no one has heard of another Hausa man embarrassing Nigeria abroad because of petty, desperate criminality

Even Abdul Muttalab's crime had nothing to do with desperately trying to make quick money illegally

^^^^ bro the problem here is not really ¨cocaine¨, the problem here is that some ignorant Nigerian was so desperate for money that he accepted to ingest 67 capsules who could have been filled with cyanide (for all we know) and decided to travel with it but unfortunately it killed him.

i dont have a problem with conscenting adults doing drugs but when this drug is freely and openly givent to kids then thats where my beef is.
also these drug barons didnt give a damn about this guy (whether Yoruba, Igbo or spaceman) they only needed him to do their dirty work and he will not even be missed, they will just go on to the next stoopid desperate Nigerian brotha in Doha.

as for your question, any knowledgeable person knows that the worst drug out there whether amphetamine, marijuana, heroine, lsd etc is Cocaine. the damage that coke does to your brain is immense and the worst of them all. so YES it is way different than alcohol or tobacco.

You don't even know about drugs, Heroine is the worst narcotic drug and not Cocaine. Meth, and Heroine are much more addictive than coke. Tobacco kills more people than coke.

LONDON — Alcohol is more dangerous than illegal drugs like heroin and crack cocaine, according to a new study.

British experts evaluated substances including alcohol, cocaine, heroin, ecstasy and marijuana, ranking them based on how destructive they are to the individual who takes them and to society as a whole.
