Of course, months leading to every election is usually characterized with tensions.
Arguments and counter arguments
Fights and banters
Tribalism and propaganda
E.t.c
But can hypocrisy be ruled out? Of course not.

Roughly a week ago, there was Twitter thread that graced Nairaland's frontpage by obidientFC ;
https://www.nairaland.com/7286404/man-knelt-down-before-atiku#115796657

It was Abdul Rasheed, a Northerner who knelt down for Atiku. He was bashed both on Twitter and Nairaland.
Please visit the link and see how he was called a slave, Atiku is an oppressor e.t.c without respecting their culture.

But just yesterday was Peter Obi kneeling in a public and official gathering.

Peter Obi was however hailed for humility, respect and all.

So what changed?

Hypocrisy or blind followership?

On the other hand, did Peter Obi purposely do this to pass a message to his supporters?

Seun lalasticlala , let these guys explain their yard stick to us so we won't argue like illiterates

Is it that your are not smart enough to know the difference between kneeling down to great and elder and kneeling to address and elder ?

Some of your are just impossible

You spent the right 7 years defending Buhari never saw any fault in his doing now you are here again campaigning for tinubu

You need urgent spiritual rehabilitation

Leave am, let him kneel down for him. He's not an hypocrite, he respects his elders and will do what's good for the nation when sworn in!

Bro, Obi did not kneel down to greet Atiku. Atiku was sitting down and Obi bent down to shake him

Theres a difference between bending down and kneeling with your two legs

You are an illiterate and you are arguing like one. Do you know the meaning of kneeling down. Borrow data and watch before posting nonsense.

Here comes another argument from the likes of Mrvitalis and masterjayjay. grin

"He knelt down to his elder vs he bent to his elder, he prostrated and whatever term you wanna use. "

Regardless of how you twist it, Obi has done nothing different from what Abdul Rasheed did.

If Rasheed is slave however, then Obi is also a slave to Atiku
And if Obi is just being respectful, then we must agree that Rasheed was doing same.

Only hypocrites will dispute the above

I expect insults as usual. Except I'm not dealing with Obi urchins.
Shay una dey whine me ni?

For you guys, any rational thinking that goes against your candidate of choice means APC.

I even hope these clueless obi wins and I promise you guys a double dose of whatever you guys dish to we who uses our brains quite well.

Even apolitical people are already complaining that Obi urchins are forcing Obi on them when they don't even know anything about the Obi.
