Hi Folks, Please does anyone know if MTN has stopped their free midnight calls. I was making calls last night thinking it was free not knowing I was being charged and was surprised when i heard 'one minute remaining'.  When i checked my account balance my N350 airtime was gone and instead of the normal PAYGO balance as they normally write, they wrote Family and Friends. Could this mean anyone on Family and Friends can no longer make free night calls  or have they stopped free calls entirely. Please anyone with similar experience?

Deactivate your Family and Friends then call Customer care to migrate you back to Pay Go

Funlink Reloaded(with 12bucks per minute 4 mtn calls n 24bucks per minute for oda ntwks. There is a daily acces fee of 25bucks afta whch u enjoy ur nyt calls<dnt 4gt d 100bucks oh>, 40 free sms during midnyt cal n 3mb of data)
Nxt is super saver aka talkon reloaded(stil offers regressive billing except nw its for both on and offnet calls wit 12bucks per minute to sm selectd countries)
Last is Family n frnds expanded or HVC(u gt 8 mtn numbas 1 intnl n 1 offnet as faf. U cal d mtn numbas at 10bucks n d remainin 2 numbas at 12bucks)
NB: Msgn rates remain d same n midnyt call's only on funlink reloaded

Thanks for the info. Please how do i migrate to this Reloaded Funlink? Its so frustrating I cant make midnight calls anymore without being charged. I ve checked their website but it didnt help

Well, thank GOD for etisalat, Mtn will regret this unthoughtful action. With just 100 bucks you can cliq with your peeps for 7 days. Now guys, tell me thats not AWESOME!

I had the same experience yesterday 9yt of 09/08/11.Though I ve nt recharged my mtn for like a yr plus nw leaving only 100 naira on d sim but it was wiped yesterday.i am on my way to get a glo line then use glo infinito on it MTN SUCKS

Pls brief me more, I just got an etisalat line. You mean you should have N100 on the phone to do free midnight calls, just like mtn?

I think the etisalat free 9yt calls is limited to only easyclique lines i.e. easyclique to easyclique only

Just go to www.mtnonline.com, and follow the instructions on thier site on how to go back to MTN paygo. or just text 400 to 131 to go back to MTN paygo. cheers
