This election would have been the most interesting for many reasons. The north wants to retain power, that is the unreasonable ones among them. If Tinubu had not excluded Christians, this would have become a near regional power tussle. The north for Atiku, the West for him (Tinubu) while the rest of Nigerians who want a departure from the thieving political class root for Obi. However, Tinubu lost his home base by excluding Christians, especially Yoruba Christians. If Yoruba Christians have rejected him, I'm at a loss who would vote him apart from Yoruba Muslims.
