For those calling for the dissolution of monarchy in the UK, is it fair to also ask that the Obas, Olus, Obis and Emirs and their palaces in Nigeria be abolished as well? I mean, are they not feeding fat on our wealth? What is the essence of their existence? It will be very hypocritical for us Nigerians to clamor, dissect, discuss and form opinions about other country when we have our own to deal with. Majority of you here will lay down flat for Oba of Ife, Kneel for Oba of Benin, so whatsup with the hypocrisy? |
